Ohio Collegiate Recovery Network

OCAAR is excited to announce the first Ohio Collegiate Recovery Community (CRC) Expansion Grant! Thanks to the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, we are able to offer this grant opportunity for the expansion and strengthening of current Ohio CRCs with the goal of increasing sustainability for Ohio CRCs and making recovery accessible to more higher education students around Ohio.

 

OCAAR will award 4 grantees up to $49,000/each to be spent on CRC expansion by September 30, 2025. Grant application is below and completed application is due by September 9, 2024 at 5pm.

 

Grant Awards will be announced September 16, 2024. Funding details are below in the “OHMAS allowable/unallowable expense document”. Grantee requirements, grant timeline, and reporting details are in the grantee requirement doc below.​

We are a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for people affected by a substance use disorder. We work tirelessly to promote and protect the rights of those in recovery from a substance use disorder.  We must ensure that
substance use disorders are treated in the same way that other chronic, healthcare conditions are treated and that the same basic rights be afforded to those affected by addiction.
